Results of the 2006 International Rostrum of Composers ![]() In the young composers category, the work for mixed choir by Latvian composer Eriks Esenvalds Légende de la femme emmurée was selected as most worthy recording for worldwide broadcasting (Latvian Radio Choir, conductor Sigvards Klava). Successful for the Latvian young composers was also the year 2005: In the 52nd International Rostrum of Composers (IRC) Le temps scintille for mixed choir by Latvian composer Martins Vilums was selected by the delegates as most outstanding in the general category (Latvian Radio Chamber Singers, conducted by Kaspars Putnins). The same year Andris Dzenitis won the 3rd Jurgenson International Competition for Young Composers in Moscow with his Four Madrigals by E.E.Cummings.
